Project Overview:

As part of a multiple-room redesign project, this busy professional couple with two young children wanted ideas on how to make their dining room more functional and aesthetically appealing. Custom built-in cabinets, whose look replicates that of the kitchen cabinets nearby, now provide additional storage and display options, while tying the entire open space together. New recessed lights and a streamlined chandelier introduce a clean, modern-looking illumination. The chair frames mirror the graphic lines of the chandelier, while the upholstery complements the color and pattern of the surrounding stonework.
